Import products from Etsy or Shopify

Bring your existing products into Minicart.

Updated today

If you already sell on Etsy or Shopify, you can pull your public catalog into Minicart instead of re-entering everything by hand.

Import will bring over as much as it reasonably can, but no import is perfect. Expect to spend a little time reviewing and polishing your catalog after. Sloane will flag anything that looks off so you know where to focus.

Start an import

The easiest way to start is to tell Sloane. Open your Sloane conversation and say something like "I'd like to import my Etsy store" and paste the URL of your shop. Sloane will take it from there.

What gets imported

  • Your storefront name, logo and banner where available

  • Product titles and descriptions

  • Product images

  • Prices

  • Variants where available

What does not come across

  • Customer lists and contact info

  • Past order history

  • Private inventory counts

  • Reviews and ratings

  • Custom pages like About Us or FAQ

  • Shipping rates and tax settings

  • Discount codes and promotions

Anything we cannot see publicly stays behind on your old store. You can rebuild these pieces in Minicart when you are ready.

Review before going live

Imported products come in as active, but since your Minicart store is not published yet, only you can see them. This gives you a chance to preview everything, make edits and confirm things look right before your first customer visits.

Sloane will call out products that look incomplete, such as missing images or thin descriptions. Review each one, make edits and then publish when you are happy. See Publish your storefront for the first time.

If something is missing

If a product did not come across, just ask Sloane to add it. See Add your first product.
