Stock lives at the variant level. Every time you sell a unit, Minicart decrements the count. Logan is your logistics teammate and is the one to talk to for anything stock related.

Tell Logan what you have: "set stock on Amber Candle small to 12" works. If a product has no variants, stock lives on the product itself. You can update a single variant or do bulk updates by asking.

By default, Minicart will not let customers order when stock is zero. If you do not track stock for a product (digital items, made-to-order, etc.), ask Logan to set it to unlimited and it will always be orderable.

If you want to accept backorders on a product you do track, Logan can turn on Continue selling when out of stock for you.

Logan watches your catalog and sends a nudge when a variant is running low based on recent sales. You can ignore it, mark it as restocked or ask Logan what he recommends reordering.

If you find a mismatch between your portal count and physical count, tell Logan the real number. He logs the change so you can track it later.
